DWA has implemented a range of policies to ensure the safety of our members and staff.

These policies have been established to protect participants, guides and staff from some of the many hazards found across the resorts. They ensure everyone’s experience is as safe and fun as possible, while understanding that we are undertaking our sport in an extreme environment, often while using specialised equipment.

National Integrity Framework

DWA, in partnership with Sport Integrity Australia, has adopted the National Integrity Framework and associated integrity policies.

This is an important step in protecting our sport and our members from integrity threats like harassment, bullying, abuse, illicit drugs, and competition manipulation.

Anti Doping:

Disabled Wintersport Australia’s Anti-doping policy is the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy, effective from 1 January 2021, and found here on the Sport Integrity Australia website. All members, participants and non-participants in Disabled Wintersport and events conducted by Disabled Wintersport Australia are bound by these rules.
