Camp Programs

Member Camps

Our variety of Member camps are held across three resorts throughout the winter season – Falls Creek, Perisher and Thredbo. DWA take an average of six members along with trained guides that allow unique experiences to be achieved and great memories to be made.

DWA camps are run in a relaxed safe and friendly environment to achieve your goals on snow. They cater for beginner to advanced skiers/riders and offer snow instruction and support tailored to your needs. As a registered DWA member, you have access to participate in these camps.

Member camps include:

  • Accommodation (shared): at Howmans Gap Alpine Centre (Falls Creek, Victoria) and at Finsko’s Lodge, Sport and Recreation (Jindabyne, New South Wales)

  • Meals*

  • Free skiing or supported ride time with DWA Adaptive Snowsport Guides

  • Specialised Adaptive equipment

  • DWA Program coordination and support

*New South Wales camps provide dinner for mid week camps only (breakfast and lunch not included), weekend camps will need to self cater for all meals and camp costs are priced accordingly.  

*Victorian camps provide breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout your stay. Breakfast not provided on arrival day and dinner not provided on departure day.

* Victorian camps include transport from the accommodation (Howman’s Gap) to Falls Creek & return only. Transport is also not provided on New South Wales camps.

DWA will also provide lift tickets, rental equipment and resort lessons if required. Once you book into a camp, you can add these extras to your booking at an additional cost.

Organisation Camps

DWA conducts regular camp programs run for organisations such as Cerebral Palsy Alliance, The Disability Trust, Kids Plus Foundation, Special Olympics and Disability Sport & Recreation, just to name a few, at ski resorts in Victoria and New South Wales.

These programs are designed to introduce individuals and groups with disabilities to the mountain environment and the joys of skiing and snowboarding. To get involved in any of these camps, please contact your disability provider to see if they offer snowsport camps.
